Pancake Day at Cavalcanti school
Pancake Day is a fun and tasty celebration. On this day, people make and eat delicious pancakes. Families gather in the kitchen to mix flour, eggs, and milk to create the batter. After cooking the pancakes on a hot pan, everyone enjoys them with different toppings like syrup, fruit, or chocolate.
OnPancake Day, there is a tradition of pancake tossing races. Participants hold a frying pan with a pancake in it and attempt to toss it in the air, flipping it over before catching it back in the pan.
Our students have learned about this tradition by reading this presentation and even running their own race!
